we got bikes from mad monkey and cycled to the beach, Ben was not a fan
Beach was rubbish, chucked it down with rain, no where served breakfast
So funny on the way back after stopping for a coffee, there was a huge 4 cross
way junction with a huge herd of cows crossing & us on bicycles
Moved to villa.. got early check in- result !
Then went to the pottery village where we got to try using the wheel
Got a free gift from the pottery place which is a whistle of whatever your
Vietnamese zodiac animal is. Zoe-dragon Ben-cat
Then we walked around the old town a lot and went in shops and tried a Mot drink
and cau Lao
We went lantern making which was really fun !!
Then lantern boats in the night where we got paper lanterns
went night market got dried mango
Zoe had Tapioca curry for dinner which was not yellow. Ben had fried chicken
rice in a fancy ish restaurant
Got Netflix on tele & could watch new series of sex education
25th
Woke up in the night to huge thunderstorms, lightening lighting up the whole
room and thunder so loud !!
Luckily the basket boats were still on & the weather held up most of the time
Got cool hats, spun around, went crab fishing, Ben lifted up fishing net.
Went to a cafe recommended for brunch, got drenched! Showered AGAIN !
Went to hoi a memories show which was amazing cast made up of 500 people !
Rained the entire time, but got an ☔️

tour with cabel cars to ba na hills (french town) & golden bridge
then over night sleeper bus to ninh binh
got free luggage storage at a weird hsotel that had potential
a bit of an over priced day
not very french
didnt get a baguette did get a crossiant tho from a cool bakery
everythjng was made of plastic
had gross korean chicken/shrimp 🤮
got on our very firsg night bus .. i liked it , ben hated it

-tràng an boat tour- (where king kong filmed) go through tom coc caves 2 hours &
temples (take cover ups)

pure rain !
had tk empty boat before it flooded
went ang trang couldnt do caves because water levels too high
went to bear sanctuary
