Taormina, Italy
With views over Mount Etna, San Domenico Palace, the Four Seasons hotel that
serves as The White Lotus was formerly a 14th-century convent and it really is
as luxurious as the series portrays it to be.
That’s where we recommend you stay during your days in Taormina.
Go through the city's historical sights, visit the beach and visit two cities
just outside the city for some beautiful beaches: Letojanni and Giarre.
Have one day reserved to visit Mount Etna and maybe go to Passopisciaro for some
wine tasting at Planeta’s Feudo di Mezzo, an amazing estate on Etna’s northern
slope.
Make sure to take one afternoon to visit Isola Bella, a very small island
connected to the mainland by a narrow path where, in the show, Daphne and Ethan
walk in the finale

Catania, Italy
Catania is a must stop as well as you go towards the south. Visit its gorgeous
historic city center with rich architecture and markets. The city has the most
stunning views over Mount Etna that almost seems to protect it and threaten it
at the same time.

Siracusa, Italy
The city is known for its rich Greek and Roman history, culture, amphitheatres,

in Ortiga during dawn. As you leave, visit Noto, the city that Daphne and Harper
visit together.

Ragusa, Italy
Your next stop would be Ragusa. A beautiful cascade city that is divided into
two parts: Ragusa Superiore (upper) and Ragusa Ibla (lower). The ancient Ibla is
a great testament to Sicily’s culture and architecture, with its magical maze of
churches, palaces and narrow streets. During your stay, pay a visit to Modica,
an equally beautiful city just a few kilometers outside Ragusa.
- Duomo di San Giorgio
- Palazzo La Rocca
- Castello dei Conti

Palermo, Italy
Last but certainly not least, Palermo! The city has a very different vibe from
the coastal east cities. Located in the northwest of Sicily, the port city has
an incredible trade history that shaped Sicilian architecture and culture. Visit
its historical sights and maybe have half a day to go to Cefalú, a beach
location also used in the series.
Southwest of the city is Monreale and UNESCO World Heritage site Cattedrale di
Monreale. Pay it a visit while you’re in Palermo, and on your way, have a peek
at the Villa Tasca, which served as the beautiful Noto villa where Daphne and
Harper spent the night.
