Moalboal, Philippines
From FB:
Moalboal town it’s just a dusty old town on the main road. Pangasama beach ( hasn’t really much of a beach ) is where you can walk into the water and swim with the sardines. It’s a great experience. If you can dive I’d recommend doing it as it’s great to go underneath and see them from below.
Pangasama is where most of the restaurants and bars are with lots of different accommodation to suit all budgets.
Close by is White beach, this is far prettier but lacks the atmosphere of pangasama.
If you like to chase waterfalls Moalboal is a great place to base yourself. With the famous Kawasan falls and canyoneering is just brilliant experience for the adrenaline junkies.
Close by is Inambakan Falls, this is not just 1 waterfall but 5. It’s perfect for swimming.
KABUTONGAN WATERFALL is not for the faint hearted. Like Kawasan you can opt out of the jumps. Here there’s no going bank.one you jump in you can swim behind the waterfall and into a cave. Bring a guide for this one.
If you’re looking for a more secluded and peaceful waterfall experience, Dao Falls is an excellent choice. Located in the municipality of Samboan, around 30 kilometers away from Moalboal, it’s a hidden gem that not many tourists know about. The falls are surrounded by lush greenery, and the water is crystal clear.
There are loads others but you can ask the locals about.
