The pool is filled with naturally warm geothermal water, which hovers around 38-40°C. The Secret Lagoon features changing rooms, showers, and a small café serving light snacks and drinks.

Seljalandsfoss, Iceland
Seljalandsfoss is one of Iceland’s most iconic and photogenic waterfalls. 60 metres tall. Its most unique feature is the walking path that takes you behind the waterfall, offering a rare perspective to experience the cascading water from within the rocky alcove.
In winter, Seljalandsfoss becomes even more magical, with the possibility of snow and ice formations. Visiting in the morning or late afternoon could offer the best lighting for photography.

Skógafoss, Iceland
Skógafoss Waterfall: A massive and picturesque waterfall that’s easy to access.
You can walk right up to its base and feel the mist from the waterfall. In winter, the mist can freeze, creating an enchanting scene with icicles hanging from the cliffs.
A staircase takes you to the top of the waterfall. The climb is worth it, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area and the Skógá River continuing downstream. The views from the top over the snowy landscape are breathtaking.

Path to Wrecked DC-3 Plane on Sólheimasandur, Iceland
On 21 November 1973, a Douglas C-117D transport aircraft operated by the United States Navy crashed onto Sólheimasandur [is] beach in southern Iceland during severe icing conditions. All seven crewmembers on board survived the accident, and the aircraft was written off. The main fuselage wreckage has remained relatively intact since the accident, leading to the crash site becoming a tourist destination.

The glacier is a short walk from the parking area (about 10-15 minutes). You can easily walk to the glacier's edge and observe the icy formations, crevasses, and small ice caves. The glacier is constantly changing due to melting and movement, so it always offers something new to see.
