South Africa tips Cape Town: 📍 🏖 We stayed at *Clifton Beach* but no nightlife there just lovely beaches. They are sheltered from the winds - Clifton 4th is the most busy I think. 🍹 The Bungalow in Clifton is a high end bar/ restaurant good for sundowners - more expensive than average. Think we just drank not ate there. (owned by Kove group ) 📍 🏖* Camps bay* beach is the best for afternoon/ evening food and drink. Beach can get windy. 🍹 Bilboa is lovely for drinks (owned by Kove group ) 🍹 Cafe caprice for drinks 🍲 🐟 Codfather is the famous fish place. Reasonable but you must book. So busy every night and lovely fresh fish. 🍲 Tigers milk is lovely food 🍲 Surf shack is great food (owned by Kove group ) 🍲 Paranga is lovely for food (owned by Kove group ) 🏨 we stayed at POD Camps Bay for a night and Cape View Clifton for 5 days (think this has closed). They were expensive but it was nice for a few days. We stayed for one night nearer Cape Town city higher up the hill and I didn’t like it- can’t remember the place. 🦶Lions head walk - fun but you might not make it to the top as it’s difficult nearer the top and windy 🦶 table mountain walk - take the easy route. Walk up gently and then cable car down. Not loads at the top, it’s more of a huge garden at the top that goes on for miles. Worth doing tho. You can go early and follow everyone slowly. You don’t need a guide I don’t think. It was like roseberry topping for me 😉 📍 🛍** Cape Town center** there are some cool markets. I never made it to the biscuit mill but heard good things. This is all in the Woodstock area. They have a brewery etc too. We did down town to pick up the car but didn’t like it- just another city. 📍 mainly people stay around *Victoria and Alfred waterfront*. Lovely to walk and browse and eat. 🍹 we went to the top of the Silo Hotel for sundowners. It’s super fancy/ design hotel. Great view of table mountain 🍲 life grand cafe waterfront was the only place we went and was lovely
