Public transport access is difficult; a car is the way to go.
2. Tsunoshima Bridge (角島大橋)
A jaw-dropping drive with turquoise waters on both sides.
One of Japan’s most scenic bridges—feels tropical.
3. Akiyoshido Cave (秋芳洞)
Japan’s largest limestone cave, with surreal underground formations.
Located in Mine City, with nearby Akiyoshidai plateau views.
4. Hagi City
A preserved old castle town with Edo-period vibes.
Known for its pottery and quiet charm.
5. Yuda Onsen (湯田温泉)
Great stop to unwind if you're doing a 2–3 day road trip.
You’ll find foot baths all over the area.
