Where and what to eat -AVOID MAIN STRIP WESTERN AND BAD OUT OF TAM COC - lots of goat - nihn Binh has bad food lots of western= spenny - pho bo 24 was local apparently - bun cha -1990 resturant in ninh binh RECOMENDED TWICE - family run resturant - Nha Hang tam gia trang TIP IF MENU HAS NO ENGLISH THEN BETTER AND MORE LOCAL Ideas on what to do: -Hire bikes to cycle or moped around - if we keep with the boys we can get in the back of their bike 👀 research good quality bc sometimes it’s bad - paddle board on the river in trang an where its less touristy if we dont do a boat tour = less expensive -SO SA KING BATHS - organic herb farm where they found lots of dinosaur bones, buy some homemade stuff like lotion, soap etc, giant roman baths big fatty herbal bath near trang an (20 mins past) - good hiking in hang mua And Trang An - very touristy but super pretty Bai Dinh - massive tall pagoda super pretty a must visit imo Tam coc - boats that go through underwater caves and rivers etc maybe we watch a video of it looks good but touristy DAY ONE -taking slow a bit of a rest day - BAI DINH PAGODA - visit 2–3 more pagodas and sit in them feel the spirituality rather than a quick walk - could go back to hostel or hire some cycling bikes for a slow ride - check out ancient town all lit up at night DAY TWO HIKE HOA LU (Lying dragon MOUNTAIN)- 16 minutes from city - early morning hike for sure want to do this with our new Salomons I have screenshotted the address - less busy in the morning so maybe for about 6-7 we get there have a coffee somewhere on the way TAKE BIKE RIDE FROM MOUNTIAN TO THE PAGODAS NEARBY OR DO THE MUA CAVES A EVENING BOAT RIDE - better at 2/3pm since they’re three hours More places for options: MAYBE ADD ANOTHER DAY AND MOVE TO A HOMESTAY ON THE LAST FULL DAY ? -tam coc sunshine homestay recomended
