Phú Quốc, Vietnam
Arrived at kingo, was peaceful. Quite quiet. We chilled by the pool and then got bikes to ride to the beach got there for sunset. Everywhere in PQ smells of jasmine, it's so lovely. Jasmine bushes and frangipani everywhere. We were going to go to starfish beach but after reading reviews that they abused the starfish we decided against it. After 3 days chilling in ong Lang we moved to duong dong beach and Kim's bungalows overlooking the sea. Had a fun night listening to rompas reggae shack and uncle Dugs. Had bun cha for dinner. Yum. Went on boat trip next day but it was very busy with people taking photos of themselves and then feeding fish with bread and rice and standing on the coral. Beautiful fishes tho, love snorkeling. That night we walked to get seafood but ended up with a fish claypot that wasn't cooked and then they added pork bits and it was all wrong. Bit of a ruiner. Enjoyed a beach walk and a swim before breakfast every day.

Da Nang, Vietnam
I saw that someone asked for tips in Danang so I repost this one. After spending months in Da Nang and getting to know the locals, I have gathered here some interesting tips for you guys:
1. The Han Bridge at night is a better choice over the crowded Dragon Bridge fire show. It rotates 90 degrees every day at different times (weekends at 23:00 and weekdays at 1:00) without the crowds. Perfect for a romantic night.
2. On Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Te Bar is a hidden gem above a coffee shop. Ask for the bar upstairs, and bartender Nhung might surprise you with a unique cocktail. Also, another hidden bar, United Bar on Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, is hidden behind the Bánh mì Vendor. Just open the door and you will find a small beautiful bar with great cocktails
3. Get prescription glasses done in 15 minutes and quite cheap at Khanh Hung Optical, also on Nguyen Thai Hoc Street. Nice family business and they offer excellent service, nice frames, high quality glasses, quick service, perfect English consultations (for me and my gf), and transparently listed local pricing (detailed website), three times cheaper than in Hoi An—my quality transition eyeglasses were a steal with a discount at $40. Be cautious of nearby optic shops without listed prices, as they are trying to impersonate this store and may charge foreigners more and always write the price on paper.
4. Con Market is preferred by locals over the touristy and pricey Han Market. It's great for affordable clothes, food, and more. Bargaining with a little Vietnamese (number + “ngàn đồng”) can go a long way and is warmly received.
5. A massage at Blind Massage on Hoang Dieu Street is quite an experience. It feels good to help them, but also they do a super good job for a cheap price ($8-10). They really do know how to find the weak spot and cure it.
6. Visit a hidden beach in Lang Van, near Hai Van Pass. Leave your motorcycle at the coffee shop near Hai Van Pass. Do trekking for 30 mins, and you will find a hidden gem. Completely secluded, it is such an adventure.
7. Take a motorbike ride to Hoa Bac, just 30 km from downtown, and enjoy the stunning nature that few people know about. Explore the waterfalls, mountains, and cozy camping spots that are mostly hidden away, known only to the locals.
8. Try many kinds of local foods on Huynh Thuc Khang street. It is just the hidden food alleys that many locals here visit. I’d recommend trying the small mussel rice, rice paper with pork, raw fish salad (gỏi cá), or squid noodles on that street. All super tasty!
9. Use a fishing boat or canoe to discover hidden beaches like Bai Cat Vang on Son Tra Peninsula. It is also possible to connect with local fishermen in town for an authentic fishing experience.
Thank you, Da Nang, for having me, and I love you so much. See you again in the future
