Kemi, Finland
One of Finland’s most popular summer resorts, Kemi’s claim to fame is its
towering sand dunes and lush vegetation. For a little culture, stop by Kemi
Church or visit one of its many museums. The area has an abundance of wildlife
to see as well – from falcons and seals to beavers and otters. Don’t forget your
camera! In town, stop by Café Hermanni for a delicious pastry and coffee before

Saariselkä, Finland
Saariselkä is a popular winter holiday destination that's within driving
distance from many of Finland's larger cities. With comfortable hotels, plenty
of activities and beautiful scenery, it is considered one of Northern Europe's
most beautiful ski resorts.

Ivalojoki, Finland
It is located on the shores of Lake Inari. It's known for its reindeer
husbandry, with an annual market selling reindeer products. Located at Ivalo,
there is a traditional Sami settlement called Ounasvaara. This place boasts
about a beautiful church that was made with stone brought from Sweden during
late 1800s. The church was constructed by volunteers with clear influence of
Viking design.

Inari, Finland
Visit Inari and marvel at views of electric-blue lakes. The village is home to
three different kinds of reindeer, two bird species (the black grouse and willow
grouse) and, during winter months, it’s lit by over 5,000 glowing lanterns. If
you plan to head out into nature for your trip, pack your raincoat—Finland
