Dubrovnik, Croatia
The world-famous city sits on a bay and is surrounded by ancient walls and
fortresses. Explore them and see if you can find places where scenes from Game
of Thrones were filmed. Remember to keep an eye out for Jon Snow!

Skradin, Croatia
On a crisp sunny morning, Skradin is one of my favourite places to start a tour
of Dalmatia. Just north-west of Split, it’s an easy two-hour bus ride from
Diocletian’s Palace. When you arrive, climb up to its wonderfully restored main
square, dominated by a rickety watchtower. From here there are great views over
the islands of Drvenik and Badija on which you can see some storks nesting.

Rijeka, Croatia
It might not be as popular as Dubrovnik, but Rijeka is one of our favorite
