Ostuni, Italy
Ostuni is a must stop destination in Puglia. Make sure you climb up to the
Cattedrale Santa Maria Assunta and Arco Scoppa and just get lost in the Centro
Storico. Take the opportunity to also visit Bari, which is a bit more touristy.
On your way south stop by Brindisi and just enjoy the beautiful beaches.

You’ll then arrive to another great city, Lecce. Expect an inherent romanticism
in every corner and just basically a city that really impersonates what’s best
about Italy, without the massive crowds. Lecce is the city of Baroque, it's
famous for its monuments and buildings and it’is considered one of the most
beautiful cities in the country, so make sure you dedicate it some time.

Matera, Italy
Next stop, Matera. The city was the set of a James Bond film and is one of the
most interesting places you can visit during this trip. Make sure you visit
Chiesa di Santa Maria di Idris and hike over to the Belvedere. We recommend 2
days in this incredible place, however, if you are short in time, there are some
great one day itineraries, but you’ll always miss something.

great coastal town that will serve as your base point. Around it expect
incredible turquoise water beaches, such as Spiaggia di Vignanotica, Spiaggia
del Pizzomunno, Lido Punta delle Sirene and Spiaggia di Porto Greco. Take a
couple of days to take in the beauty, or if you can, spend one or two more days
to explore a bit more.

Finally, spend some time in Polignano a Mare. A stunning location. Known for its
beaches and old streets, the city does not disappoint. Much quieter than Bari,
it’s a great spot to sunbathe and explore the coast. It’s also in good distance
from Alberobello that is most definitely worth a visit.
