Day trip to fuji:
The most convenient way to travel is the Fuji Excursion Limited Express, which runs directly from Shinjuku Station to Kawaguchiko Station in about 1 hour and 50 minutes.
​Departure: Aim for the earliest train (typically around 7:30 AM or 8:30 AM).
​Return: The last direct trains back usually depart between 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM, so book your return ticket in advance.

Stop 1: Chureito Pagoda Located in Arakurayama Sengen Park, (get off train at Shimoyoshida Station)
Stop 2: Oishi Park sits on the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchi. It offers a clear, unobstructed view of the mountain across the water.
Stop 3: Oshino Hakkai is a set of eight crystal-clear spring ponds fed by melting snow from Mt. Fuji. It is a beautiful traditional village setting with thatched-roof houses.
Stop 4: Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway takes you to an observation deck on Mt. Tenjo, 1,075 meters above sea level.
Lunch/dinner (if we have time): Sanrokuen provides a unique historical dining experience in a 150-year-old traditional building.
​Diners sit around irori (sunken hearths) to grill their own skewers of meat, fish, and vegetables over charcoal.
​It is widely considered one of the most atmospheric and authentic dining spots in the region.
