Hooker Valley track, New Zealand
Drive into the white horse hill campground and park in the car park. There is some cafes and shops in mount cook village if you want to stop there and get a snack.
There is several tracks to follow from this point. The one I recommend is the hooker valley track.

Queenstown, New Zealand
Queenstown is a stunning little town with lots of good food and fun! Get a campsite close to town so you can enjoy the night/morning here
Activities:
- take the gondola up to the top of the mountain and get stunning views of the town. You can ride back down or take the luge down
- shot over jet: very fast jet boat around the canyons
- ice bar: exactly what it sounds like a bar made of ice
- Arrowtown is a cute old town a 20 minute drive away: maybe go for some breakfast and a walk around ( The drive there is absolutely incredible too)
- Can also go skiing if you’re up for it
Food!
- fat badgers pizza
- fergburger
- cookie time
- patagonia chocolatier
I would sleep here the night and then spend the day here, potentially even two nights

Milford Sound, New Zealand
Milford sound is such an incredible place! The drive in is absolutely stunning and there’s lots of little places and walks to stop at on the way
Take in the views and take time to stop and look at the pretty places and cute birds. This is pretty up there for the most special at drive I’ve ever done
Stop in te anua on the way into Milford sound and grab brekkie and a coffee. This is also the last big ish place to buy snacks and grocery for the next couple of days.
Walks on the drive in:
- mirror lakes
- the chasm
- Milford sound lookout
- walks around the sound
Recommend staying in the Milford sound rainforest camp.
