Late February in Seoul is cold (0–7°C) but manageable with layers. Explore Gyeongbokgung Palace, the trendy Hongdae neighbourhood, and warm up with hearty sundubu-jjigae (soft tofu stew). Myeongdong is great for street food and skincare shopping.

Gyeongju, South Korea
Gyeongju is Korea's open-air museum, home to ancient Silla dynasty tombs and Bulguksa Temple. By early March temperatures begin to soften slightly compared to Seoul. The Tumuli Park burial mounds and Cheomseongdae observatory are unmissable highlights.

Busan on the southern coast is noticeably milder in late winter, making it the most comfortable stop. Visit the colourful Gamcheon Culture Village and the vibrant Jagalchi fish market for the freshest seafood. Haeundae Beach is scenic and far less crowded than in summer.
