Phuket, Thailand
JJ residence Phuket Town - 1 room 3 single beds. En-suite, aircon. £11 pp. Airport shuttle (gotta pay extra but might be worth it). + I have had a look on Grab. It will cost us around £13 for a taxi to take us to the hotel.
This hotel looks alright and is a 5 min drive/ 30 min walk to the bus station ( to get to kph Samui)
There are a huge amount of dorms available at £10 a night on hostelworld.com (go look at these for yourself) however these are in the town. Most are around a 8-15 minute drive away. I’m not particularly sure how we would get to the bus station but I’m sure we can get a taxi from Grab
Places are selling out somewhat quickly (especially the hotels) so we should book soonish.
We MUST be at the Phuket bus terminal 2 for 7:30am on Jan 12th for our coach to Koh samui - £14 pp 12goasia.com (cheapest one)
I think we get a dorm/ hostel in the old town Phuket

Koh Samui, Thailand
There are loads of hostels on Koh samui, josh said we should stay in the north west in the Chaweng area (by the airport) this is also very near to where we need to get on the boat to Koh phangan
I looked at “samui backpacker hostel” it is walking distance to the beach. However it is just outside of the chaweng area (13 minute drive) it Has an 8.4 average rating with 1.2k reviews. Looks pretty cool and is very hear the airport and walking distance to marina for the boat to Koh phangan. £6.50 per night for 2 nights.
Other options for Koh samui but in the Chaweng area are: - these are around 10 minute drive to the marina.
Kluay mai guest house: this is a room with 3 single beds and is around £8 per night (2 nights) it has an 8.9 average rating and is 200 yards from the beach. However there is one room remaining on this so we would have to book it fast.
Ler hostel 65: 7.9 rating on hostel world. We would be in a room of 4 it looks decent. £7.80 a night (2 nights)
9;30 am on the 14th January a Catamaran to Koh phangan. We will need to get a taxi from the marina to the hostel in Haad rin (20 minute drive) this is £6 per adult for the boat ride.

The rendezvous hostel, right in the middle of the full moon party area - cheap option £30pp for the stay (2 nights)
Sun beach bungalows, a short walk from the full moon party area - more expensive but we would have a bungalow to ourselves for 2 nights. £60pp for the stay (2 nights)
