with the various issues in finding camp sites that allowe winter admittance perhaps we should stay in Jasper for longer! whilst it appears the winter doesn't start in force until December the end of autumn must be when it drops below freezing in the night so the campsites close. possibly a 7 day split in Jasper and then 7 days in Banff sticking to the campsites that are open?
