Get the train to Paddington on the Elizabeth Line, then an Uber to Danubius Hotel Regents Park. (Contactless card works for trains and buses)
Drop bags and then go out for the day.
Closest train station is St John’s Wood, 10 minute walk - alternatively lots of Australian coffee places in Marleybone (Granger & Co) about a 25 min walk
Get the train into town and explore Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace and walk through to Westminster / Big Ben
Have lunch then go back to hotel, check in and have a rest.
