Tips voor goede restaurants in Kandy
- Balaji Dosai – Dit is een vegetarisch restaurant met gerechten uit Zuid-India. Proef een van de verschillende soorten dosa’s en eet het net zoals de locals doen; traditioneel met je voorkeurshand.
- Hideout Lounge – Een hip restaurant met een divers menu en een heerlijk terras met schaduwplekken. In de avond is dit ook een gezellige plek voor een drankje want ze serveren lekkere cocktails en sommige avonden is er live muziek.
- Cafe Banana Chill – Hier kan je de hele dag terecht voor verrukkelijke ontbijtjes boordevol vitamines.
- Organica Lounge Kandy – Dit kleine zaakje zit wat verstopt en je moet er flink wat trappen voor lopen, maar eenmaal aangekomen kan je plaatsnemen op een leuk dakterras en heerlijk eten bestellen.
- Soul Food – Dit vegetarische restaurant is van dezelfde familie als Soul Food in Sigiriya. Hier eet je lekkere bowls, burgers en wraps.
- Vito Wood Fired Pizza – Voor lekkere pizza’s met uitzicht over Kandy ben je hier aan het juist adres.
- The Empire Cafe – Heerlijke Sri Lankaanse gerechten vol smaak.

How to get a ticket: * The physical ticket needs to be collected from mTicketing service at the station.
