We are so glad you have chosen LakeLodge Kiehinen for your stay at Rovaniemi.
We kindly ask you to notice some necessary information you might need before arrival.
ARRIVAL
LakeLodge Kiehinen is a self-catering accommodation on the shore of Lake Norvajärvi, approx 18 km from the center of Rovaniemi.
You can easily arrive by own car or taxi. We highly recommend to use Taksini Application, it's easy to order taxi with this and you can also do order in advance. Taxi price is approx 50-60€/oneway. It is good to know that there is no public transportation available at this area.
Nearest services, such as shops and restaurants, are located about 15 minutes away by car so it might be good to stop at supermarket or have dinner at town before arriving.
Your accommodation is ready by 15:00 on your arrival day and you can arrive after that at anytime. We have contactless check-in and you will receive your check-in information with key-code by 15:00 on your arrival day. You don't need to do any other check-in upon arrival.
DURING YOUR STAY
In the area of Kiehinen you will find our cozy Lounge -cabin, GrillHut, snowshoes and kick-sleds. These are all for your free use at anytime.
Our office is open daily and you can visit us here. If there is any questions during your stay, you can reach us best with messages at Booking page.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Breakfast 15€/person/day
Cold breakfast basket includes stuffed bread, fruit, yogurt, instant porridge, juice, coffee & tea bags + sugar & milk. Breakfast basket will be delivered to your room. Please make your order at least 48 hours before arrival. Please let us know if you are allergic to something or have preferences on your diet (for example if you don't eat meat or if you are allergic to milk).
Picnic Basket 25€/person
Basket includes hot drink (coffee, tea and hot chocolate), soft drink, stuffed bread, snack bar and reindeer sausage. You can enjoy this in our GrillHut and cook reindeer sausage on an open fire. Please make your order before your arrival. Please let us know if you are allergic to something or have preferences on your diet (for example if you don't eat meat or if you are allergic to milk).
Sauna 100€/h/including 1-2 persons
Private use of lakeside sauna with outdoor jacuzzi and also possibility to try ice swimming. Please make your reservation well in advance, cause availability is limited.
Ice-fishing 20€/day/including 1-2persons
Ice-fishing equipments can be rented from our office. We will give you good guidance and you can try then your fishluck on lake. (Possibility depending on the ice condition of the lake, around Dec-Apr) No don't need to make booking in advance.
