Bangkok, Thailand
Morning:
• Land 8 am → drop bags at your Sukhumvit hotel (they’ll hold them until check-in).
• Head straight to Frank’s for brunch — great coffee, food, and first-day reset after your flight.
• Walk around Lumphini Park after brunch if the weather’s good. It’s big, calm, and you’ll probably see monitor lizards cruising around the lake.
I
Afternoon:
• Check in around 2 pm, shower and rest a bit.
• Late afternoon: go to Wat Arun for sunset — it’s especially nice around 4:30–5:30 pm.
• Then cross over for a drink at Eagle’s Nest with the river view.
Evening:
• Chinatown street food crawl (Yaowarat Road) — this can be your main street food night.
• If you’re still up for a drink later, Find the Locker Room or Havana Social are both nearby back in Sukhumvit.
Day 2 – Markets, Culture & Rooftops
Morning:
• Start at Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and Wat Saket (Golden Mount) — best done early before the heat.
• Quick lunch nearby (tons of local cafés in the Rattanakosin area).
Afternoon:
• Explore Bang Sue Junction / Bangsue Function street shopping market — loads of clothes, accessories, and local finds.
• Then head to ICONSIAM — it’s massive, air-conditioned, and has both designer stores and local Thai brands. There’s also a floating market-style food court inside.
Evening:
• Go for dinner/drinks at Tichuca or Octave Rooftop (both in Sukhumvit).
• Keep this night flexible depending on how much shopping you do.
⸻
Day 3 – History, Chill & Departure
Morning:
• Head to Ancient City (Muang Boran) — rent a golf cart and explore. It’s a big area but a really fun half-day trip.
Afternoon:
• On the way back, stop by Song Wat or the Artist’s House if you want something quieter.
• Lunch somewhere casual like Madame Musur or Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu @ Dinso Road.
Evening:
• Visit Jodd Fairs or The One Ratchada for a final market dinner and shopping session.
• Return to your hotel, grab your bags, and head out for your sleeper bus to Sukhothai.
Michelin Street Food Night (Chinatown Focus)
Best night: your first evening, after Wat Arun + Eagle’s Nest
Area: Yaowarat Road (Chinatown)
Route idea:
1. Start around 6–7 pm when the lights and signs come on.
2. Grab a few small plates from different spots — that’s half the fun.
Top Michelin-recognised spots nearby:
• Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu (Michelin Bib Gourmand) — smoky, wok-fried pad thai with pork belly.
• Nai Ek Roll Noodles — peppery broth and crispy pork; fast, super local spot.
• Guay Jub Ouan Pochana — famous for its crispy pork belly noodles.
• Ann Guay Tiew Kua Gai — fried noodles with egg and chicken, very simple but the wok flavour is unreal.
• T&K Seafood — classic Chinatown seafood, plastic chairs, loud, perfect.
• Sweet ending: try the Yaowarat toasted buns (stuffed with pandan or condensed milk).
You could spend 2–3 hours just wandering, snacking, and people-watching. If you still have energy afterward, Chinatown also has a few low-key bars hidden in the alleys — places like Teens of Thailand or Asia Today are great for a cocktail before heading back
