Well, that´s a leading question….! They all have their charm and it depends
which view you see them from and what you are after as to which is the most
beautiful. Monterosso: The most northerly – it is the least obviously
“stunning”, but it has a fab beach (the only one to have a sandy beach) and a
pretty old town set back from the train station which is worth a wander through
for an hour or so. Manorola: Stunning views when approaching it from the
South (hike from Corniglia) looking down onto it as you descend the path. Also
looks really pretty from the end of the pier, looking back over the harbour.
Corniglia: We stayed here. It´s in the middle of the five and the only one up
the hill and therefore no port. It´s less busy (and again less obviously
stunning from afar because of this) as a result of having to climb a large
number of steps to get to it from the station, but is full of charm and the
basil ice cream was delicious! Vernazza: There´s a particular view of the
town from a restaurant terrace up on one side of the port, overlooking the other
side which makes this place look special. Riomaggiore: Very narrow valley to
the harbour, feels the most crowded as a result, best viewed from the sea (ie on
a ferry or private boat). It´s probably the view you see most of when you look
at photos of Cinque Terre.

Lake Bled supposed to be nice - nearby Kaz Cousins I can't get Airbnb to share
the link, but its apARTment Villa Coola. Got a 60s hippy vibe and I love it!
Much more high-end finish than listing would leave you to believe Clair
Mincherton Ljubljana is lovely, small, peaceful, low key. I was going to lake
bled today but couldn't face 3 hour round trip on coach, so just pottering here.
The tourist information is very helpful. They gave me map of local architects
stuff, so I'm off to check out some of these in a minute Louise Heppleston -
Bled is nice, but Bohinj, a bit further away, but much much better/less touristy

FB recommendation: Budapest Jazz Club. On Pest side of Margaret Bridge. Cheap
wine. Not expensive entry.
