Ghangaria, India

Ghangaria is the last village and base camp for Valley of Flowers, reachable by a 9 km trek from Govindghat. From here you can explore the Valley of Flowers National Park and also make a day trip to the sacred Sikh shrine of Hemkund Sahib at 15,000 feet. The valley blooms with hundreds of alpine wildflowers from July to September.
