Arrive on a flight from Beijing on Day 1. Visit museum or ancient temple in afternoon. Day trip to the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding on Day 2. See Sichuan Opera on evening. Train to Ya'an and then bus to Kangding on Day 3.

Day 1:
Metro from People's Park to Chengdu East Railway Station (Line 2).
Train from Chengdu East Railway Station to Huanglongjiuzhai Railway Station.
Take tourist through bus to visit Huanglong Scenic Spot for afternoon.
Take bus back to Songpan for hotel accommodation.
Day 2:
Early through bus to Jiuzhagou Scenic Area for a full day. Bus back to the same hotel.

Afternoon arrival from Chengdu. Spend the rest of day 1 exploring the city. Visit terracotta warriors and Shaanxi history museums on day 2. Day 3 catch a train into Beijing.
