Arrive on a flight from Beijing on Day 1. Visit museum or ancient temple in afternoon. Day trip to the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding on Day 2. See Sichuan Opera on evening. Train to Ya'an and then bus to Kangding on Day 3.

Afternoon arrival day 1, spend time exploring city. Potential day trip to Tagong village using Kangding to Bamei bus line on Day 2. Approximately 1.5 hours each way. Catch a bus or shared taxi to Moxi town on day 3.

Late arrival day 1, spend time exploring the town. Day 2 take tour bus through Hailuogou glacier Park and hike to base of glacier. Day 3 get bus back to Ya'an and then get train back to Chengdu.

Late arrival into Chengdu. Next morning catch train from Chengdu into Xi'an.

Afternoon arrival from Chengdu. Spend the rest of day 1 exploring the city. Visit terracotta warriors and Shaanxi history museums on day 2. Day 3 catch a train into Beijing.
