From Sennichimae → walk south-east, away from Dōtonbori canal

• North of Kuromon (but not inside it)
What to look for:
• Tiny izakayas packed shoulder-to-shoulder
• Standing bars (立ち飲み)
• Yakitori, grilled pork (焼とん), sashimi specialists
Why it works:
This is where locals drink and eat after work. Tourists rarely wander here because signage is subtle and streets are narrow.
