Get the bus from Chumphon to Ranong then a boat to Ko Phayam which is the last paradise to upgrade to electricity. We can hire a moped as nothing in the way of traffic. Stay a night or two and enjoy the beach. Would need to leave suitcase behind as only taxis are motorbikes. Go back to Ranong to collect suitcase then get the coach to Phuket. Both coaches less than £10
Or We can get the ferry from Chumphon to Ko Samui 4.5hours app. £70 for both of us. Than from Ko Samui to Surat Thani for app £7 each 1 hour 20 mins.
