DAY 1 — 15 July (Arrive ~4pm)
✅ Arrive Ipoh ETS Station ~4pm. Check in to hotel (recommend staying near Old Town e.g. M Boutique Hotel or Treehouse Hotel).
🕓 4:30pm — Freshen up, short rest.
🕔 5:30pm — Casual stroll along Concubine Lane (Lorong Panglima) and Armenian Street. Browse street art and quirky shops at a leisurely pace.
🍽️ 7:00pm DINNER — Lou Wong Tauge Ayam (Famous bean sprout chicken rice, Jalan Yau Tet Shin). A must-try Ipoh iconic dish. Expect a short queue but worth it.
🌙 8:30pm — Evening walk around Old Town heritage shophouses, admire the colonial architecture lit up at night. Early night in.

DAY 2 — 16 July (Full Day — Relaxed)
☕ 8:00am BREAKFAST — Sin Yoon Loong or Nam Heong Coffee Shop (Old Town) for authentic Ipoh white coffee, half-boiled eggs and kaya toast. A classic Ipoh morning ritual.
🕙 9:30am — Visit Kellie's Castle (about 20–25 min drive, grab a Grab/taxi). Explore this fascinating unfinished colonial mansion with mysterious history. Leisurely 1.5–2 hrs.
🍜 12:30pm LUNCH — On the way back, stop at Restoran Onn Kee (Tauge Ayam) or try Ipoh Hor Fun (flat rice noodles in silky broth) at Funny Mountain Soya Bean area.
🕑 2:30pm — Visit Perak Cave Temple (Gua Perak) or Sam Poh Tong Cave Temple — beautiful limestone cave temples with turtles and koi ponds. Relaxed and shaded.
🧋 4:30pm — Afternoon break at Oldtown White Coffee or try fresh soya bean milk at Funny Mountain Soya Bean & Beancurd (iconic since 1950s).
🍽️ 7:00pm DINNER — Foh San Dim Sum (if craving dim sum dinner) OR head to Restoran Sun Yuan Foong for Ipoh-style curry mee or dry curry noodles.
🌙 8:30pm — Optional: Night walk at Ipoh Parade / Meru Raya area for dessert. Try cendol or ABC ice at a roadside stall.

DAY 3 — 17 July (Full Day — Relaxed)
☕ 8:30am BREAKFAST — Dim Sum at Foh San Restaurant (arrive early, it gets busy). One of Malaysia's most famous dim sum spots. Leisurely breakfast with lots of variety.
🕙 10:30am — Explore Ipoh Old Town murals and street art trail (walkable). Look out for Ernest Zacharevic-inspired murals around Jalan Panglima and surroundings. Great for photos.
🍱 1:00pm LUNCH — Plan B Restaurant (Ipoh) or Thyme Out Cafe for a relaxed Western-Asian fusion meal in a heritage setting. Good for a slow sit-down lunch.
🕑 3:00pm — Visit Ipoh City Hall (exterior photo stop) then head to Han Chin Pet Soo — a beautifully restored Hakka miners' club museum. Fascinating history, AC inside, great for a relaxed afternoon.
🧁 5:00pm — Dessert stop: Aun Kheng Lim Salted Chicken (Ayam Masin) — buy some to try or tapau. Also grab Egg Tarts from Sin Eng Heong bakery (famous since 1961, queue expected).
🍽️ 7:30pm DINNER — Lou Wong or try something different: Nasi Ganja (Restoran Nasi Kandar Ayam Merah) — famously addictive rice dish, open late.
🌙 9:00pm — Relax at hotel. Light packing for tomorrow's morning checkout.

DAY 4 — 18 July (Half Day — Depart 10:30am)
☕ 7:30am BREAKFAST — Quick but satisfying: head back to Nam Heong or try Restoran Greentown Nasi Lemak for a final local breakfast. Keep it within 1 hr.
🕘 9:00am — Last stop: Pick up souvenirs and pastries at Sin Eng Heong (egg tarts) or Ipoh night market area. Grab packed Ipoh white coffee powder as gifts.
🚉 10:00am — Check out hotel, grab Grab/taxi to Ipoh ETS Station.
🕙 10:30am — Board ETS train back. Bon voyage! 🚂
