It did not bother me at all, but as others have noted, there are some steep steps leading to accommodation. For those without a car, after your 10 min flat walk from Port to Gaios, look for Cafe/restaurant Toucan.There is a little street that leads to another street at the back. Walk down there, you will see a tiny church, turn left and walk down that road. On your right, a little way down you will see a sign showing you the steps that lead to the accommodation. There were no instructions for walkers, so hope this makes it easier.
