2. Mid-Day: The Drive to BohinjTransit: Take the 30-minute drive or the direct public bus (40–60 minutes) to Lake Bohinj. The drive through the Pokljuka Plateau is exceptionally beautiful.

Afternoon: Lake Bohinj (The Wild Heart)Ribčev Laz: Arrive on the eastern side of the lake to see the historic Church of St. John the Baptist and the iconic stone bridge.Vogel Cable Car: Catch the Vogel Cable Car (located in Ukanc on the western end) up the mountain for jaw-dropping, panoramic views of the Julian Alps.
Savica Waterfall: From Ukanc, you can also do a 20-30 minute hike to see the roaring Savica Waterfall.
