- North to Jodd fair night market, chatuchuk park and weekend market
- head East to cafes and sky bars in Thonglor
- easy access to airport rail from Sukhumvit
* Rama nine could be a good alternative to Sukhumvit for accommodation, might be cheaper and still close to center

TRANSPORT:
-You get a ticket for a taxi at the airport if you need it
- taxis tend to scam, will short change tourists
- taxis with a red light on the dash are empty
- grab and bolt are the Uber of SEA
- airport rail link 30 min to city, Cash only at ticket machine/ window but super cheap. Blue token is your ticket on
- all stops announced in English
- NEED BLUE TOKEN TO EXIT
- BTS sky train and MRT metro are independently operated rail systems that go to different parts of the city, going to be the best/ cheapest form of transport for us
- 6am to midnight
- need coins for BTS, gives you a card as a ticket
- offers day pass for 150 baht unlimited rides
* MTS is easier, can tap on with credit card
