Kingston, Canada
After a 7-hour flight, I arrived at Montreal Airport and took the train directly
to Kingston. My scheduled train was extremely delayed and the total ride was
still 2 hours, but the beautiful views of the red, orange, and yellow trees,
really made up for it. After arriving it was very easy to arrange an uber at
Kingston terminal, and this drive took around 10 minutes. In the following days,
it was time to explore the tiny city of Kingston. Especially for students it is
a nice city to visit when you are around, but it is very small and there is not
that much to see. That's why I would recommend only staying 2 nights here, and
saving the other days for the bigger and prettier cities around. However, there
are a lot of cute restaurants where you can choose from, and as a woman who was
sometimes outsides at late hours, I felt completely safe. There are always
people outside and everyone is extremely nice and helpful. These days in
Kingston, I mostly recovered from my jetlag, instead of doing real activities.
