-Early morning start to the ADO bus terminal for a 8:10 bus to Bacalar.

-Arrive in Bacalar at 1:50pm.
-6 minute Taxi to Airbnb (Maïa Bacalar, Av 7, C. 30 &, Mario Villanueva Madrid, Bacalar, Q.R., Mexico) or 15 minute walk
-Explore, unpack and freshen up

- Swim in Cenote Azul – A deep cenote surrounded by jungle, just 10 mins from town. Entry: ~$2-3 USD.

Relax at a waterfront balneario (public dock area) – Enjoy the turquoise lagoon at Balneario Municipal (free) or grab a drink at Los Aluxes Bacalar (they have swings in the water!).

- Sunset at Bacalar Fort (Fuerte de San Felipe) – Learn about pirates & enjoy panoramic views. Entry: ~$5 USD.
- Dinner at Mango y Chile

-Visit Los Rápidos Bacalar – A stunning natural lazy river where you can float along the lagoon’s current. (~$7-8 USD entry).
-Explore Cenote Cocalitos – Famous for stromatolites, the world’s oldest living organisms. (~$2-3 USD entry).

-Lunch at El Manatí – Fresh local food in a jungle garden.
- Sailing Trip: We will visit two swimming spots (Canal de los Piratas and Bird Island) as well as Cenote Negro

-Dinner at Nixtamal – Authentic Mexican cuisine with a cozy atmosphere.
Chill night at a lakefront bar (Bote de Leche has cool reggae vibes & craft beer).

-Sunrise Paddleboarding or Swimming – The lagoon is unbelievably calm and magical at dawn.
-Coffee & Breakfast at Enamora – A cute café with homemade bread and great coffee.

-Explore the Bacalar town center – Cute markets & souvenir shops.
