Day 1: Discover the heart of Izmir and its coastline
Morning:
Start with a visit to the historic centre, including Konak Square, the Clock Tower and Kemeralti Bazaar. Explore the narrow streets, shop for souvenirs and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
Afternoon:
Head to the Alsancak area, a neighbourhood with modern architecture and sea views. You can take a ferry from Kordonboyu harbour for a ride along the coast.
Overnight:
Enjoy dinner at one of the many waterfront restaurants, with fresh seafood specialities.
Day 2: Ephesus and the coast, or a trip to Pamukkale
If you choose Ephesus:
Morning: Take a tour or bus to Ephesus, an ancient Roman city with impressive ruins. Explore the Library of Celsus, the Theatre, the House of the Virgin Mary and other landmarks.
Afternoon: You could visit the Ephesus Museum to learn more about the history of the city. Afterwards, return to Izmir or enjoy the beaches near Ephesus.
Evening: Enjoy dinner in Izmir, sampling the local cuisine.
If you choose Pamukkale:
Morning: Join a day trip to Pamukkale, known for its white travertine pools.
Afternoon: Explore the natural pools, the ancient city of Hierapolis and enjoy the panoramic views.
Evening: Return to Izmir for dinner and rest.

We recommend scheduling the balloon flight on the first day as if it has to be cancelled due to bad weather, you will have the option to do it on the second day.
Day 2:
09h - Kaymakli underground city (1h30): Underground city with tunnels, cellars and shelters.
11h - Devrent Valley (Valley of Imagination) (45 min): Rock formations in the shape of animals.
12h30 - Lunch in Ürgüp (3h): Explore the old town.
