Beatuiful town, touristy. Most of people do day trips to go to the islands, that
is why 3-4 days is good. Baranquilla doesnt have a lot to offer. Medellin is
also cool - 2,3 days, not more . rosario islanes tiur. palAce of inquisition.

2-3 days max . El Poblado neighborhood. Provenza also nice to visit. Envigado
and Sabeneta also safe. Avoid: La Candeleria , Prado and Andalusia. Dont walk
parques lleres at night.
Cerro el picacho view point. Cable car around the city. (can be used also as
transport)/ Metro.
Parque Arvi. Colombian coffee - PErgamino coffee. Day trip to Guatape (2hrs by
bus or taxi) - beautiful lake city - 1 day to sleep. Real city free walking
tour. Centro comercial with street food, Tour of COmmuna 13. Dont use street
taxis - Taxi app instead Tappsi. Pablo Escobar tour.
Guatapo bay - where pablo had houses, beautiful view, big rock to climb - day

Quito, Ecuador
Here we fly in from Colombia, potentially spend a night depending on the flight
towards Galapagos. Fly to galapagos - entrance visa goes with the plane ticket.
you buy it on the airport. They did own accomodation and then day trips from
there. Cash USD everywhere, otherwise big fees or they copy your card details.
Nicaragua is alternative if we dont do galapagos.

Galápagos Islands, Ecuador
- 6 days is enough, mandatory to take a guided tour as 95% areas are protected
and require it
- We can also stay indepdenently; We fly to Baltra or San Cristobal, and be on
one of the four islands (San Cristobal, Santa Cruz, Floreana and Isabela), and
take day trips from there.
- Being on a cruise however gives opportunity to go to more remote areas with a
lot more wildlife
- Last minute cruises deals exist (you can also arrange it from Quito) - 60%
cheaper. Normal one is about 1200 USD per week (need to check)
- Price to enter the park is 100 USD
- Fly from Quito or from Guayaquil (900 KM far from mainland, 2 hour flight, ca.
300 USD)

Here we spend a day and a night or we can go straight to the Aguas Calientes -
sleep there and then have full day in Macchu Picchu, . High altitude, could feel
sick, so give some time to chill this day.

1. Take a train from Cusco to Machu Picchu (92 USD pp, 3.5 hours)
2. Stay in a town for overnight sleep (if we want) - Aguas Calientes. E.g. Hatun

3. Take a bus in the morning to Macchu Picchu - 30 min, 8.30 AM, 24 USD
4. Tickets 44 USD pp to visit the area - best is to go with tour guide - 3 hours

Hike is possible but its super intense and you loose a lot of time here. 3-4
days.

Come back from Aguas Calientes, explore the city and then stay the night or fly
to Lima the same day. Would be nice to stay atleast 2 full days in Cusco.

Lima is also beautiful, we should spend at least one full day exploring.
Shortest and cheapest flight to Rio is from Lima (if we go from Peru)
restaurant central - best restaurant. 2 days is enough.

Manaus, Brazil
Good entrance to Amazons. Wear long pants and mosquito repelent. Super
interesting, you can stay for 3 days with this agency and they move you around,
stay in some hotels. Worth the money, dont save here. We might have to go to Rio
first 2-3 nights, then manaus, then again 2-3 nights Rio.

visit both argentinian and brazilian sides, they are different. We should
probably fly Rio - Iguazu brazilian side, then cross the border to argentina and
then fly further. From Cataratas of Iguazu airport (argentina) to foz de iguazu
airport (brazil) there are 45 min by car.
