Einer bekanntesten Orte in Sri Lanka und ein grünes Paradies mitten in den Bergen und angenehmen Klima. Highlights sind hier die Wanderung zum Ella Rock, die Wanderung zum Little Adams Peak und die Nine Arch Bridge. Für die drei Dinge solltest du mindestens 2 Tage einplanen. Ansonsten kann man auch noch andere Dinge in der Umgebung erkunden oder auch einfach die Aussicht von seiner Unterkunft und die Restaurants in der Stadt genießen.
Evt tagesausflug teeplamtagen: Nuwara Eliya
Wir haben die kurze Wanderung zum Little Adam’s Peak gemacht. Dann gingen wir zur Nine Arches Bridge, wo wir den Zug vorbeifahren sahen. Wir besuchten auch eine Teefabrik: Zuerst die Plantage, auf der wir Tee pflückten, dann die Verpackungsfabrik und schließlich die Verkostung!

Ravenna Falls liegen direkt an der Straße und du kannst sie ganz bequem von dort aus sehen.
