morning) markets at Takayama if that tickles your fancy (nothing special IMO)
but a walk to the old castle ruins at Takayama Park will get you going before
breakfast. Then take the wideview Hida to Nagoya train (covered by jr pass,
scenic route) and the shinkansen on to Kyoto. The wideview Hida is a really nice
trip.

nice hotel, habe es geliebt. bushaltestelle zum anfang der tateyama kurobe
alpine route 2 mins zu fuss, einziger Nachteil: nach ca 16.30 uhr fahren keine
busse mehr zum hotel und man muss ein taxi nehmen von Shinano omachi

Dormy Inn Toyama Natural Hot Spring, ok, herziger hotspring mit einer Sauna und
2-3 pools, gratis glace und fermented milk drinks, check in komisch (auscheck
time), manchmal einbisschen müffelig im Gang, würde das hotel nicht wieder
buchen, habe mich irgendwie nicht so wohl gefühlt
