Transport Consortium Travel Card (Tarjeta Monedero Consorcio de Transportes). Multiple people can use the card at once, just needs to be validated after each other. Card can cost around 1,50 euro and then rides cost around 0,85 euro. Can be bought at any train station or tobacco place.
Additional attractions: Picasso has some significance to Malaga so maybe we should pay attention to that?

Tarjeta Multiviaje card is a card that is topped up at any kiosk or in metro stations. Used for bus and tram (not metro's) tickets and has an initial cost of 1,50 euro. Multiple people can use one card.
Tarjeta Turista can be bought for one day for 5 euro and for three days for 10 euro. This includes transport on metro's, trams and busses. Not really worth the money

Most attractions are in Baixa and Santa Clara and can be accessed by foot.
You can also make use of the bus system. You can either buy a ticket with many different trips or a day ticket for 4 euro or a 3 day ticket for 9 euro. The day tickets give you unlimited rides in that day. Only one person can use the pass at once. Can be bought at many different places and map is attached in an article.

Very important to drive on the N222. The entire drive scenic and goes through the Douro Valley

Public transport:
Get Andante 24 card (not Andante Tour card) for zone 2 when staying in central Porto. Will cost around 5,15 euro and gives you unlimited access to the metro, busses and some urban trains. One card is valid for 24 hours (not one day). Can buy from most train stations. Only one person can use a card per trip. One trip usually costs around 1,40 euro.
The Porto card isn't really worth the money.
It is worth booking a 6 bridges cruise to see all of the bridges of Porto. Should be done in advance, preferably.
You can also consider doing a cruise up the Duoro river to visit the different vineyards.
