How to get here:
Cebu City - Maya Port - Malapascua
In order to get from Cebu City to Malapascua you will first have to get to Maya Port in the North tip of Cebu Island and from there take a quick ferry to Malapascua Island.
The buses operating the service from Cebu to Maya are the Ceres Bus and depart from North Bus Terminal on Logarta Avenue, next to Union bank and close to SM Cebu City Mall.
The buses from Cebu City to Maya run 24 hours a day. Non-AC buses run every 30 minutes while Aircon buses run every hour.
Once in New Maya Port you have to take a ferry to Malapascua Island. The trip costs 200 pesos and takes around 35 minutes with good weather conditions. Ferries operate until 17:00 pm.
Malapascua to Bantayan:
A lot of people that plan to visit Malapascua also plan to visit the nearby Bantayan Island. If you are already in Bantayan there is no need to go first to Cebu. In that case you can rent a private boat directly from Malapascua. Just ask the locals around Kota Beach in Santa Fe. The price for this private service is 2500 php.

Bus from Cebu City to Moalboal
This is the cheapest option. Buses leave from the Cebu South Bus Terminal. Look for a bus that goes to “Bato via Barili”, “Badian” or “Moalboal.” They leave super regularly throughout the day (around every 30 minutes) so no need to check for a schedule.
You can just buy the ticket on the bus. Aircon buses are a bit more expensive. We paid 209 PHP. Our journey took around 3 hours.
The bus stops in Moalboal. If you want to head further to Pangsama Beach, a private tricycle will cost around 120 PHP.
