Worth-Seeing Spots
🌃The Bund: Shanghai's iconic landmark! 52 "international buildings" are incredibly stylish, and the best time to visit is in the evening. Enjoy the river breeze and light show, and the night view of Lujiazui across the river is breathtaking! Chen Yi Square is a photogenic place, and every moment looks like a blockbuster! 📸
🎡The Oriental Pearl Tower: A Shanghai landmark! The fully transparent viewing gallery is thrilling, and the City History Exhibition Hall is a long-lasting attraction. The lights are especially bright at night!
🏯Yu Garden: A classical garden of old Shanghai! The pavilions and towers are exquisite, and the brick and wood carvings are incredibly detailed. I recommend renting an electronic guide to hear the stories behind them, and wearing Hanfu is perfect for photos!
🏛️Shanghai Museum: The bronzes, calligraphy, and paintings are truly stunning. The museum's treasure, the Da Ke Ding, is a must-see. Guided tours are available, so check the time in advance; a two-hour visit is plenty. 🚢Wukang Road: Recommended for arty types! The old houses beneath the sycamore trees create a unique atmosphere, and the "ship-shaped" Wukang Building is a must-see! Sit down at a sidewalk cafe and take some pictures that capture the charming atmosphere. ☕
🛍️Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street: "China's No. 1 Commercial Street"! Time-honored shops and big-name brands abound. Grab some shengjianbao (a traditional Chinese steamed bun) when you're tired. Head east from the Bund, past the old buildings, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Shanghai!

🗓 DAY 2 — Lingyin Temple (Must Visit)灵隐寺 Recommendation: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Feilai Peak (North Cableway Peak)飞来峰
Locate the ticket office of Beigaofeng Cableway. It takes about 40 minutes to climb directly to Lingshun Temple. It costs 30 yuan to take the cable car, which takes 5 minutes to reach the top. You can buy tickets on site. The cable car is open from 07:30 to 16:00. Try to go early, otherwise the queue will be very long..
Lingshun Temple 灵顺寺
The No. 1 Temple of the God of Wealth in the World, opening hours: 07:00-17:00, ticket price: 8 yuan/person, scan the code on site to purchase tickets, the temple implements "civilized incense burning", three sticks of incense are given at the door, do not bring incense, the order of worship is: archway → Mountain Gate Hall → Guan Gong → God of Wealth → God of Wealth → Main Hall → Platform viewing → return.
Taoguang Temple韬光寺
For studies, it's about a 15-minute 800-meter walk from Lingshi Temple. You can buy a 45-yuan ticket to Feilai Peak on site, which includes Taoguang Temple and Yongfu Temple. The opening hours are 06:30-17:30. The "Taoguang Tea House" in the temple serves the highest-altitude vegetarian noodles in Hangzhou (20-30 yuan/bowl), served with mountain spring tea. The mountain path is steep, so don't wear slippers.
Yongfu Temple永福寺
To pray for peace and good marriage, walk 500 meters from Taoguang Temple (about 10 minutes), the first blessed place in Qiantang. The Fuquan Tea House in the temple serves vegetarian noodles for 25 yuan per bowl, and mountain spring tea is refilled for free. There are more than 10 "stitched cats" in the temple with super good tempers, so you can bring your own cat food.
Lingyin Temple灵隐寺
It is a 500-meter walk from Yongfu Temple, about 10 minutes. To enter Lingyin Temple, you need to pay an additional 30 yuan for an incense voucher (scan the code on site). There is a vegetarian restaurant in Shifangyuan in the temple (35-50 yuan per person). We recommend vegetarian roast goose and Luohan noodles; "Yinshi" coffee + cultural and creative products at exit.
Faxi Temple法喜寺
Faxi Temple is 2 kilometers from Lingyin Temple. You can take a sightseeing bus for 10 yuan or take a taxi.
The first of the "Three Temples of Tianzhu," the birthplace of the White-robed Guanyin in China, it's known as "Guanyin's First Inspirational Dojo" and is popular among young people seeking marriage and fortune. (Tickets: 10 yuan (includes three incense sticks). Opening hours: 06:00-18:00.
