How to Get to Beijing Road
1. Take metro line 6, and get off at Beijing Road Station. Leave from Exit B.
2. Take metro line 1 or line 2, and get off at Gongyuanqian Station, and leave from Exit D and then walk to east for about 800 meters (880 yd).
3. Take City Sightseeing Bus Ancient City Line and Xiguan Style Line and get off at Beijing Road Station.
4. Take bus line 10, 183, 190, 1, 219, 3, 541, 544, 66, B8, Night 1, Night 32, Night 36, Night 39, Night 69, Night 8, and get off at Beijing Road Intersection Station.

Dali, China
Day 1: From Kunming to Dali, take Gaotie(the high-speed train). Fast and comfortable. Stay in Caicun village to see the beautiful sunset and sunrise of Erhai Lake.
Day 2: Spend a day visiting Dali ancient city and three pagodas. Then take a taxi to Xizhou town. Stay in a historical hotel there. I recommend Jiakedi.
Day 3: In the morning, visit Yanjiadayuan Yard and the beautiful rice fields then go to Zhoucheng to see the beautiful Zaran (indigo dying by using plant leaves). Go back to Dali ancient town. Take a taxi to Shaxi and stay there.
Day 4: Spend a morning visiting Shaxi. Take a taxi to Lijiang in the afternoon. Visit Lijiang ancient town then stay in Shuhe or Baisha.
Day 5: go to Yulong Snow mountain(buy the tickets in advance). Take the cable to the top of the mountain then visit blue moon lake. Then come back to Lijiang ancient city.
Day 6: if you have more time, visit Lugu Lake, Tiger leaping gorge, and Shangri-La. Then go back to Kunming.

Lijiang Tinghua Valley is located about 13-15 km away from Lijiang Ancient Town.
There are rich natural landscapes here, with gorgeous tulips in spring, dreamy lavender in summer, and snow-capped mountains, forests, and lakes. The architecture combines Naxi-style wooden houses with European style. Therefore, the sea of flowers will be most beautiful from May to October.

It's a chain bookstore that focuses on rural areas of China. It has a great collection of anthropology and history books about Yunnan's minority ethnic cultures. It also sells souvenirs like Wamao and Jiama.
And Banshankafei is a nice café from where you can see beautiful rice fields. It offers good coffee made of Yunnan local coffee beans as well.
