There are then multiple ports we can choose from (Sanur is south back down by Denpasar (1hr 45min travel). Kusamba and Padangbai are more east and may be easier for us to get to from our location at the Batur NP. But you guys all have more of an idea about ferries than us and how easy it is to get across the island :) )

Recommended hostel: Citis House - he said it looked like a shithole from the outside but the host was lovely and cooked dinner with him more culture.
