Wanneer je op het vliegveld bent aangekomen vind je – net voor de uitgang – een aantal telefoonzaakjes, waaronder de Dialog kraam. Een simkaart aanvragen is makkelijk, want er is simpelweg één standaard vast pakket voor toeristen. Zo hoef je niet te kiezen. Dit pakket schaft iedere toerist aan, dus je hoeft niet bang te zijn om afgezet te worden. Op de balie ligt de prijslijst, zie hieronder.
Er wordt een kopie gemaakt van je paspoort en de medewerker zorgt vervolgens dat het simkaartje wordt geïnstalleerd. Meteen klaar voor gebruik, ideaal.

Zoals gezegd is er een vast pakket voor toeristen, dit is dan ook een vaste prijs. Een simkaartje, plus 9GB aan data, 100 minuten lokaal bellen en 20 minuten naar het buitenland, kost je totaal 1350 roepies. Dit is ongeveer 7 euro.

Is je beltegoed/internetverbruik op? Dan kan je in ieder klein winkeltje op iedere hoek van de straat jouw data opwaarderen. Je koopt een klein kraskaartje voor 99 roepies (zo’n 50 eurocent), op de achterkant kras je de code zichtbaar. Het opwaarderen gaat vervolgens heel gemakkelijk via een SMS-functie, welke op de achterkant staat beschreven. Met één kaartje (van 99 roepies) ontvang je 700 MB, erg goedkoop dus. Je kan meerdere kaartjes tegelijk kopen en deze achter elkaar opwaarderen.
