Welke Bari bezienswaardigheden mag je niet missen?
- Het oude centrum : de wijk Bari Vecchia, ook wel San Nicola genoemd, gelegen op het schiereiland net boven de hak van Italië. Je vindt hier authentieke straatjes waar je heerlijk op je gemak doorheen struint met hier en daar en typisch Italiaans plein. In het historisch centrum van Bari bevinden zich genoeg bezienswaardigheden die je kunt bezichtigen. Zo zijn de Sint-Nicolaasbasiliek en de San Sabino kathedraal hier architectonische hoogstandjes.

Even though Matera isn’t officially part of Puglia, but belongs to the
Basilicata province, it’s often combined and added to a Puglia itinerary; and
for a reason. The city is beautiful and worth discovering. The most striking
thing about Matera is that it consists out of two Sassi. The first day in
Matera, we did focus on exploring one of them named Sassi Barisano. Read

Gelegen in Polignano a Mare vinden we deze bijzonder wijngaard. De eigenaar is een enthousiaste verteller, die trots is op zijn bedrijf. Je kunt hier een rondleiding krijgen, waarbij je maar liefst zes wijnen te proeven krijgt, ook krijg je er heerlijke hapjes bij.
