Stayed in The Sun Inn. In the "Sheep" room. First night, had Tomato and basil soup for starters, and Steak Pie for main dish. With Highland Park whiskey.
Next morning, full English breakfast with black pudding. I liked it.
Day trip into Wales. Beautiful country. Visited Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, Llangollen, Betws-y-Coed and Beddgelert. Had Welsh rarebit in Betws-y-Coed, Too much cheese for my liking
