Start your visit to Thailand's capital, Bangkok, at the iconic Wat Arun Temple. Take a boat tour whilst enjoying the city skyline to reach this impressive mosaic temple. Spend an hour or so exploring here for a complete experience. Then, in the evening head to Koh San Road to spend your night in this pretty iconic strip in the centre of Bangkok. This is THE PLACE to go for a wild night.
DAY 3 - 11TH SEP
spend the morning getting some decent breakfast before heading to the Baiyoke Skytower, Thailand's tallest hotel. This has a (usually pretty quiet) viewing gallery at the top which has incredible panoramic views out across the entire city! There's also a bar at the top serving some pretty great cocktails! Spend the evening however suits you best, Bangkok is definitely a city of two halves so if partying is your scene this is definitely the place for it.

DAY 4 - 12TH SEP
Get up early and head to Bangkok's famous Floating markets - around an hour out of the centre in Ban Sala Hua Hong, these are a classic tourist spot but for good reason. Sail the canals in a guided gondola style boat and have the opportunity to shop for a wide variety of items. The earlier the visit the better as it can get busy with tourists! In the evening, grab some food at the Victory Monument street food market before you make your way to the station for the overnight sleeper train.

DAY 1 (5) - 13TH SEP
Once you've got settled after a night on the sleeper train, head to Wat Phrathat Doi temple, famous for it's many MANY stairs, with beautiful views from the top.
Learn about the rich culture in this area direct from the monks that live in the monastery at the top.
Spend the evening exploring Chiang Mai's famous street food stalls, I'd go as far as to say this was the best street food I ate in all of Thailand! Located on Chiang Mai Gate.
DAY 2 (6) - 14TH SEP
Time for a day trip to an Elephant Sanctuary, there are A LOT of these in and around Chiang Mai so definitely do your research into one that is ethical and helping to conserve these beautiful animals and their habitats! We visited Chiang Mai Elephant home in Mae Wang and the 3 elephants they had there at the time had all been rescued from poachers who were hunting them.

Get up bright and early and begin the WILDEST journey of your life. The route from Chiang Mai to Pai is notorious for being one of the bendiest routes in the world. With over a hundred twists and turns, make sure you pack your travel sickness tablets! In the evening, head out to explore Pai's famous hippy & laid back street markets. Incredible food stalls line the main street with rows of restaurants right behind them, there is SO much choice!
DAY 2 (8) - 16TH SEP
Head on a day trip to Pai hot springs and Nam Lod Cave! Sail through Lod Cave on guided rafts, stopping to be able to feed the fish and look at the bats that live there, this is the largest cave in Thailand and it's well worth stopping at. Afterwards the hot springs provide a gorgeous natural swim stop. End the day at Pai Canyon - a must visit to watch the sun set. The most incredible shades of pink and orange light up the canyon as the sun goes down - it can get popular, so arrive around an hour before the sunset time! ( IF YOU'RE BRAVE YOU CAN HIKE THE NARROW WALKWAYS FURTHER OUT TO GET A BETTER VIEW)

DAY 1
Welcome to Vietnam's capital city! Start by exploring Hanoi’s old Quarter. Head over to Joan Kim Lake and visit Ngoc Son Pagoda on Jade Island. This historical landmark is in the centre of the city and is a great first place to visit! Then, visit Dong Xuan Market, the cities largest indoor markets! In the evening, check out the famous 'beer street' to experiences a proper backpacker culture (and the best street food!)

DAY 2
A Hanoi must-do is a visit to "Train Street. This iconic street can be accessed through one of the 'train street' cafes. Check the train's schedule and sit and have a drink while you watch the passing train! If you're Visiting Hanol over a weekend, visit the nigh markets stretching from Hang Dao Street to Dong Xian Market. These were some of the best markets we visited in SE Asia! (TRY KIM TRANG TIEN FOR THE BEST ICE CREAMS!)
DAY 3
Start your day with Vietnamese coffee at 'The Note Cafe' in Hanoi. This unique cafe allows you to leave notes on any surface, expressing love, or simply stating where they've travelled from! Afterwards, make your way to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum area and visit the museum here. As your time in Hanoi comes to a close, spend your last evening at the city's famous 'Water Puppet Show, a traditional Vietnamese art form located in the heart of the city!
DAY 4
Easily booked as a one-night trip from Hanoi, get picked up from your accommodation and taken to the port before setting sail through Vietnam's 'Natural Wonder of the World, Halong Bay. This beautiful world heritage site is made up of incredible rock formations, caves, and mini-islands. We did an overnight cruise that included these tours as well as a kayaking trip through a lagoon. (WE DID THE ATHENA ROYAL CRUISE; IT WAS A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE BUT 100% WORTH IT!)

Start your day off at Clover Coffee and try their Vietnamese coffee (this is THE best coffee I've ever had). After fuelling up on caffeine, head to the old city and the temples in this area. This is a beautiful nod to the Hue of old.

DAY 1
Time to head to Hoi An! My personal favourite town in all of Vietnam! The easiest way to get here is by taxi or bus. Head straight out to explore; this city has so much to offer! Visit the 'Japanese Covered Bridge' on the river, and then head to one of the MANY custom tailors in the town and get yourself sized up for some custom-made clothes. This is without doubt what Hoi An is most famous for, and for good reason; this is a Vietnam must-do!

This is a great place to try a Vietnamese cooking class!

In the evening, visit Hoi An's night markets. You could spend hours walking around, trying the food and exploring all the bars and restaurants along the river. Start your day at Phin Coffee for a delicious breakfast. Afterwards, stop by the tailoring shop to check on your finished clothes. Most shops offer shipping options to send your items back home, so it's definitely worth arranging. Spend your last evening in this town by doing a boat tour along the 'lantern river.' Watch as the water is illuminated with lanterns, creating an unforgettable evening as you sail down the river.

Time for a day trip! Visiting HCMC wouldn't be complete without visiting the city's infamous 'Chu Chi Tunnels, the network of underground tunnels used by South Vietnamese soldiers during the Vietnam War. This first-hand look at what life as a soldier would have been like is harrowing and eye-opening, but it is an absolute must-do in the city. We booked this through GetYour Guide.

When visiting this city (and the entire country), it's almost impossible not to be immersed in its history, from its time as a French colony, to the war. The epitome of this is felt in the 'War Museum' here in HCMC which is another must visit. In the evening explore the Bin Tay markets. (BRING TISSUES FOR THE MUSEUM AND BE PREPARED BECAUSE IT DOESN'T SHY AWAY FROM BEING GRAPHIC)
