Buy subway all day passes

Tegernsee, Germany
€34.20 RETURN. I feel this is linked to public transport rather than DB trains. No need to advance book.
Also, these are often valid for a full day. Could well be worth buying a Munich 3 day tube pass if this is included

Getting to ULM (this is tricky):
We shot ourselfs in the foot slightly getting a ‘Bayern’ ticket. Means we can’t use fast ICE train and use Munich as a launch to ULM. Means we gotta continue north through Bavaria with 2 changes but loads cheaper!. Luckily, German trains are smoother than KM oiled up so we should be alright.
Options:
Garmich-Kempten (1 change)
13.04- 15.29
14.04- 16.29
15.04-17.29
16.04-18.29🤩
17.04- 19.29
Kempten- ULM (direct)
13.34- 14.38
14.33- 15.38
15.33- 16.44
16.35- 17.39
17.33- 18.38
18.33-19.38🤩 although 4 min changeover😬
19.42- 20.38
We can of course change our mind on the day and take whatever train we want. I would rather get to ULM before sunset, do a quick whip round then quickly to bed as we up at 6.15AM next day. Also I wanna stay in alps for as long as possible, if we play our cards right we essentially have another full day.
