🚆 Option 1: S-Bahn + Tram (Approx. 22 minutes, €7–€12)
1. S-Bahn S11: From the Düsseldorf Flughafen Terminal station (located beneath Terminal C), take the S11 train towards Bergisch Gladbach. Disembark at Düsseldorf-Derendorf station. 
2. Tram 701 or 711: At Düsseldorf-Derendorf, transfer to tram line 701 (direction Benrath) or tram line 711 (direction Universität). Ride to Nordstraße or Sternstraße stop. 
3. Walk: From either tram stop, it’s a short walk to Hotel Am Hofgarten.

**Day 1 - Exploring Königswinter and its Surroundings**

Afternoon: Hop on a train to Boppard, a quaint town on the Rhine. Once there, explore its picturesque streets and historical sites before boarding a ferry to Sankt Goar. The ferry ride offers stunning views of the Rhine Valley, making it a perfect afternoon activity.
Evening: After arriving in Sankt Goar, take some time to appreciate the village's beauty and possibly visit the famous Rheinfels Castle. As the day winds down, indulge in a cozy dinner at a local restaurant before returning to Königswinter, where you can relax and reflect on your day’s adventures.
