Ask to be dropped off at the crossroads at the village of Ixlu. This would
probably cost you as little as $5 each or Q40.
Once there, go to the other side of the triangular intersection for catching the
next available colectivo heading eastbound to Melchor de Mencos. This should
cost less than $8 each or Q60. (It's been a couple of years since I last did the
same)
After arriving to Melchor de Mencos walk across the bridge to get your
Guatemalan exit stamp on your passport and then go further up the street to get
your passport stamp for entering Belize.
Once you pass through Immigration & Customs there will be taxis waiting for
people who are going to San Ignacio. The taxis will be safe to use as well. The
trip there was $10 per person when I was last there.
