- stay: I like Maadi (Dark Solution for coffee (best in Egypt) and ratios, which
is a french style bakery) and Zamalak
- old Egyptian museum (the pink one, I think called the Egyptian museum of
antiquities? They all have very similar names), where king tut treasures are.
Kinda dated and ramshackle but in a charming Indiana Jones way.
- Egyptian museum of civilization (I think?)- this is also very new, only opened
a few years ago, it’s where they moved all the royal mummies. Nice modern small
museum, only takes an hour or two. Mummies are super cool!
- Saqqara. More pyramids, that came before the great pyramids. Really cool area.
