the ferry from bali is awful (so take an earliest possible one if you have to; and from padangbai not sanur to save 4 hours!)(take the ekajaya ferry if you have to), try to take one from lombok or the other gili islands, which are much cheaper and shorter! from the nusa islands it’s much longer, and only if weather is good!
